Radiant ruby. Great complexity and density on the nose. Aromas of plums, cherry jam, rose water, truffles, cigars and warm spices are revealed. A lot of substance on the palate, and at the same time elegance and finesse. The tannins are grainy and prominent. The finish is long-lasting, aromatic and well-balanced.

Vinification
Only the best grapes are good enough for Bruno Giacosa’s single-vineyard «Falletto di Serralunga d'Alba» Barolo. After careful harvesting by hand, the grapes are gently pressed and the must is immediately fermented in the classic way. The young wine is then aged for 24 to 48 months in wooden barrels, followed by six to twelve months of maturing in bottles.
