Tasting notes
Glowing ruby red with garnet reflections. Ripe cherries, a warm spiciness and well integrated roasted notes dominate the nose. On the palate, soft, elegant, juicy and intensely flavourful with seductive notes of ripe black fruit. Full of character with a long finish.

Details
A wonderful Barbera that shows what this variety can do. Intensive bouquet, dry and powerful, but velvety on the palate.
Recommendations
Wonderful with braised dishes, lentils and sausages, but also with a classic tagliatelle al tartufo.
Vinification
The Barbera grapes come from Falleto di Serralunga in the community of Alba. After harvesting and pressing the grapes, the mash is fermented in stainless steel tanks. The young wine matures for 12 months in medium-sized wooden barrels. This is followed by six months bottle ageing.
