Tasting notes
Vibrant ruby with garnet red hues. Wonderfully playful and fragrant on the nose. Aromas of flowers, red berries, black pepper, some dried fruit and truffles. Rich and full on the palate, present yet delicate tannins and elegant acidity. The aromas of the nose also emerge on the palate. Beautifully balanced, long and highly complex on the finish.

Vinification
Only the best grapes are good enough for Bruno Giacosa’s single-vineyard «Rabaja» Barbaresco. After careful hand-picking, the grapes are gently pressed and the juice is immediately fermented in the traditional way. The young wine is then aged for 24–36 months in wooden barrels and matured for six to twelve months in the bottle.
