Dense ruby. Very elegant and clean on the nose. There are floral notes, sweet red cherries, strawberries, understated roasted notes, some eucalyptus and forest undergrowth. Powerful, rich and well-structured on the palate. The tannins are quite robust, yet of elegant, top-notch quality. The balancing acidity is well integrated. The aromas of the nose are repeated on the palate and are well proportioned. The finish is long and aromatic.

Matured for two to three years in oak barrels, this elegant, top-quality Barbaresco impresses with its floral bouquet, subtle roasted notes and the wonderful aroma of strawberries, eucalyptus and forest undergrowth. Powerful, full-bodied and well-structured on the palate. The tannins are quite robust, yet of elegant, top-notch quality.

Vinification
Only the best grapes are good enough for Bruno Giacosa’s single-vineyard Barbaresco «Asili». After careful hand-picking, the grapes are gently pressed and the juice is immediately fermented in the traditional way. The young wine is then aged for 24 to 36 months in wooden barrels and matured for six to twelve months in the bottle.
